I failed 2 subjects...got U...*shrugs* oh well...n i'm guessing my last subject will get a U as well...Triple Us...lousy grades...but oh well...i'll just accept it...learn from my mistakes n move on...after all there's no way i can turn back time n retake my block test after all...

I wud like 2 thank my friends for being there for me and being concerned for me ^^ I can assure you guys i am really fine...i'm not saddened nor discouraged, most of all definitely not demoralised...my aim in JC is to do well in my A levels...my grades for my Block tests, MSAs, Mid-Years do not really matter to me...i can be attending workshops to improve my studying abilities though i think am not 100% sure if it will improve my results....

I just wish i do not panic like how i did for my Block Test...i can't gurantee an A...but i know i'll pass...for some reason i really blanked out during the papers...eesh...freaky....oh well...what's gone is gone...i'll just take it as another challenge which life has thrown at me to overcome...because after all, life is not a bed of roses..there are bound to be obstacles to overcome...this is just another roadblock which i haf to clear...i am not giving up...not yet....not at least until I can gurantee a good score for my A levels...in the meantime, i am thankful for all the support i receive from my family and friends...^^

BLOCK TEST

Nii~~ I juz had my block test last week...n er...i think i like totally screwed up the paper. Ever since i came to JC, i've had this problem of blanking out and not able to recall a single thing when i go for my papers...sheesh...n the result? Simply failing my papers like crap...ahhh!! Anyway, GP was ok, Chem was fine...(a lot of careless mistakes though i feel) Econs...so-so...Maths and Physics? DIE! WAHOO!! Hello J1! here i come!

Yea...it is possible that i will get thrown back to J1 cause i'm on conditional promotion...which means if i dun hit at least 35 points for my block test 1(which i doubt i will) i'll get thrown back to J1. Gee....repeating my J1 year is like a waste of my time...i intend on juz going through with it...all the way till my A Levels...if i am forced to retain though...i haf an alternate route...yea poly. Mum n Dad dun mind me going...cause they know i'll land up with something which i enjoy doing and am good at...beats studying...tt's wad i feel...

Haizz...results getting back soon...oh well...i am like so immune to my results it scares even me. In fact, i am more worried about things which are like totally not related to my studies...yeap! I wonder why myself...geez....

Need a haircut...my hair is already touching my waist...omg......scary.....time for a hair trim i guess ^^

2 major events for me: Air Show and Service Learning at NUH

People! I've juz been to two wow-wee exciting events...^^ reali interesting experiences i must say...i attended the Air Show last Sat (23rd Feb) and 2day was Service Learning at NUH!(National University Hospital)





Event (1): Air Show





The Air show...let me summarise....it's excellent...minus the heat, the queue n the PLENTY of waiting time...which drove my friends n brother crazy...of course i was the only one hu was quite happy with the warm temperature ^^ so i din complain at all...LOLLOL.


Anywayz, when we first reached Pasir Ris Interchange, one of my friends Joey asked his uncle for a lift, which we were thankful for...because apparently we couldn't get a cab n the waiting queue for the Shuttle Bus was REALLY LONG! It stretched all the way until i couldn't even see the end...sweet eh? However...when we sat in the taxi...oh boy...i was squashed between two guys...n i was dead scared to move...me friend jerold n i took turns to lean forward n backwards...until we both gave up n decided to lean back....or else one/both of us might haf ended up with a reali bad backache.


Finally, after half an hour ( or was it longer?) or so we finally reached the place...SAD! We only got to watch A WEE BIT of the aerial show...DANG! >_< hereThere were all sorts of reali cool weapons/transport machine gears...^^


Of course we had fun as a amongst ourselves as well...which i will not spill...but yea it was really memorable...^^ teehee...tat was about it for the Air Show...we den ran off(not literally or we'll be panting n we'd haf broken legs) to Parkway ... chomped on sth light n played at the arcade before we went our seperate ways for dinner...*snigger* yeap tat's it for the day! ^^

Event Number (2): Service Learning at NUH





Well...we sewed some stuffed hearts for the patients...it really made my day i guess, to see smiles on the patient's face...yet...at the same time...i felt really sorry for them...They all looked...lethargic...they all seem to have lost hope in life...or at least for the ward that i was assigned to...my heart really went out to them...i guess hearing from others and actually seeing the situation...just being there really makes a lot of differences. Being there...even for just a mere two hours, has really taught me to appreciate life itself more...n tat life itself is actually such a delicate state...we muz learn to live n cherish the present moment...not take it for granted...


For the Finale, we went into a couple of wards and sang: When You Believe from The Prince Of Egypt...it was a wonderful finale...three people cried...n some of us were on the verge of tears. Me? I have cried too much this year and the previous year already...i felt sad...but i guess i just had no more tears to cry...yeap that's it! My two exciting experiences! ^^

CNY Celebrations

Gosh people...it's been a REALLY long time since i updated my blog...sorry cause i've been REALLY busy. Anywayz yea it's a whole new Lunar new year again...i shall relate my days of chinese new year celebration day by day...not a good idea to cramp everything inside...and of course some recent things added in as well...

CNY EVE

Hmm...speaking of the eve...i went to LAN shop!! LOLZ. There was me, my brother (quentin), megumi, william, jerold, joey(jerold n joey joined us later) n a new guy...sze chun! hehe...We played DOTA...poor meg...i think she must haf felt really left out...she couldn't play...maybe i should haf let her try the game...sighz...anywayz, yes me, sze chun and joey were being teamed up...while my brother, jerold n will were being grouped. Oh man sze chun was really pro...he literally owned the game! I could see n hear the computer blaring: Double Kill! Triple Kill! M-m-m-monster kill! Godlike! Holy shit! I think my jaw nearly touched the floor. For me...i din bother killing anyone...i merely happily farmed the creeps for experience and money ^^ my team won!! YIPPEE! of course the previous game...when my brother n i were in the same team..we had only one thing to say...GG(good game) = die!
Anywayz at night...we went to my Grandmother's place for dinner...Reunion dinner!! ^^ of course when i first went there i didn't really talk as i was quite tired...after awhile though...i was happily chatting with my aunt/uncle over dinner...it was really fun! We talked abt the various kinds of delicacies all over the world. Some of us nearly had an appetite loss though...hehe. Yup tat's abt it for the CNY eve...ciaoz!


CNY Day 1 and 2!

Went back to my granny's place again 2day...for lunch. Though...I haf to admit...i overslept...cause i was REALLY tired. When i reached my granny's place...it was time for lunch! Oh goodie...i was starving...after eating we went off to my other granny's place...my mother's mum. Of course i did nothing except stone there the ENTIRE afternoon...as in...juz watched tv n slept...the movie was quite ridiculous though...esp the ending...it was plain retarded. We had dinner after tat n went off. 2day there wasn't anything much to talk about...all of us merely had fun chatting n catching up with lost time. Ahh...the Lou-Hei part...i was trying to stay as far away as possible from the plate as i could...because i din want food on myself...

Day 2...i went to my father's mum place...again! It'll be the last time i had the chance to eat his cooking...which is simply mouth-watering delicious! ^^ I got to talk with my long-time-no-see cousins at last...hehe. Both guys...n older than me...hehe. We talked n shared our life so far...a little...well...a little's better than nth...after we ate...i went home...n well....HOMEWORK TIME! Haha ciaoz ppl! SAJC PAE CCA Recruitment 2008

Well...today wasn't much...except i was dead tired....because yesterday i had choir practices all the way till 8 plus...and 2day i had CCA Recruitment...think i'm losing my voice >_< went through High School Musical yesterday...n we had 2 sing again 2day for Recruitment Drive...*sigh* not much to talk about...but juz don't feel too well these few days...my headaches keep coming on...probably because of the weather...it's been very cold these days....n my body juz ain't suited for the cold...

Think we managed to recruit 20+ people to the choir...although i'm not sure how many of them wud remain behind in SAJC for the 2nd intake...which is in a few weeks time...i wish we can recruit more...than it'll be really fun! ^^

LOOONG DAY!!!

LOLZ...basically i was doing a lot of running today. Us choir members had our usual PT(Physical Training) so we had 2 run around the basketball court...did jumping jacks, crunches n push-ups...played Husband and Wife...(refer to my previous post of i-haf-no-idea-how-long-ago)...a game similar to catching...before going for practice.

Then I had 2 run to catch the only bus tat was available outside the school's main gate cause someone locked up the only two side-gates...n then thankfully i got a break in my sec sch...before running of to catch a bus again to my friend's (Jerold) place where my brother and his friend(William, oso my friend) were at....fantastico!

After stoning at our Jer's place for abit...we ran off to PL!! I played O2jam, Gunz...but sadly we had no time to dota...n er...once i reached home i intend to study n not play games anymore..until As are over...

Ltr, we decided to accompany Will to his Dad's office...at the Concourse...where we chatted, studied a bit, did some work, chatted, laughed...did some ridiculous pinching stuff to each other...basically someone pinches you n u haf to pinch anyone but the person hu pinch u...n the number of times had 2 be the same as well...i was the only girl...how nice...n er...will pinched jer i-do-not-know-how-many-times and jerold looked at me..i was thinking...oh no...n ran for it...not much space though...so i relented *sigh* but it was fun!

Ate dinner at Burger King juz opposite the office...(Will couped some food from us...our fries n my drink....>.<) That was it then...we went our seperate ways n went home...

mua B'dae

Yea!! 2day was one of the crazier birthday celebrations i've had in my life. LOL...so i shall start from the beginning...n tat means when i wake up...



On the previous night, i told my friends tat they could come at 10am...but if by 11:30am they aren't able to make it they had 2 make their way to our lunch destination themselves. N what time did i wake up? 10:30am...believe me i literally jumped out of bed and ran to find my phone...thank heavens no one called...just as i was about to go back to sleep however, my phone rang...ah...William and Hoa kiat have already reached...so I guess I had to make my way downstairs and pick them up. Before I even walked them to the lobby, Joey called...and I had 2 pick him up as well...then Megumi turned up...thank goodness she was dropped off at the lobby...last but not least, Jerold sms Joey...and I screamed. I gave Joey the card key and told him to open the gate for him when he came...because I was quite tired of having to move around like crazy. Not to mention i haven't brushed my teeth or bathed!

Once i FINALLY reached home, I ran off to bathe...ah...the nice warm water...of course i'm not supposed to bathe immediately after i wake up because i'll catch a cold...hmm...after tat nth much till we reached our destination...ate at Raffles City...a buffet lunch...and er...one of my friends had a huge appetite. At first, I was the only one hu was quite surprised and freaked...ltr on even the 4 boys sitting opposite me had the same reactions as well. If i'm not wrong he went for 5+ rounds while the rest of us had 3 to 4 rounds only...

Went off to Suntec Guild and played Pool!! Man was it fun...but because there were 7 people it wud definitely be unbalanced. In the end, we played a few rounds...wif the JC peeps against the non-JC peeps: Me, Megumi, Hoa Kiat and William vs Joey, Jerold and my brother. It was fun...but for the 2nd round...we played halfway and mum said time to cut the cake...oh yea...for the first time i actually cut the cake outside of home...^^...pretty interesting experience i muz say...dad took a couple of photos...we ate the cake...drank some juice and continued the game.

Oh yes...while meg, will, joey n i were waiting for the rest to arrive...i could see will trying to get his phone because he thought meg was sitting on it...at first tat's wad i thought to....until she told me in F-language tat it was in her bag...i was looking at her bag which was on her lap...and william was trying to reach behind her for his phone...oh man...the attempts used were...hilarious. I felt bad though..reali...but then i merely ignored them...ignorance is bliss after all...and watched Joey played his PSP...after awhile meg went to the toilet...wad an idea to escape...she finally returned the phone though..through yours truly of course.

After staying at the guild hs for awhile more...we went back home...and played computer games! Hk was eager to go down and play soccer...i played...but i sucked because it had been a LOOOONG time since i played...then it was back home after a drink...and everyone went back to their own houses....wad a day! ^^
