Outing wif my guy friend clique XD

HA!! 2day i went out wif my guy friends (including my bf of course, duh!) to catch a movie!! Nyahahahahaha. Hmmm initially we were plannin on watching DBE...however after a certain amount of review given to us by one of the guys in the group...my enthusiasm suddenly found itself being swept away by the currents of the ocean and pushed deep into the murky depths by the currents...omg...the reviews were really bad...as in REALLY TRULY UTTERLY sucky...all of it said tt DBE had quite low ratings...plus it sucks because it's a japanese anime so why on earth do we see western people acting?! (of course no offence against westerners) I feel that it only makes sense if there were Asian people acting...as in REAL Asian people...the only person i felt that was picked correctly was Chow Yun Fat. No offense but Jamie...i guess it's cause of her accent...I mean yes to be fair she is Asian and all, plus her Martial Arts skill kick ass!! The rest of the characters...omg...all of them were westerners...eek...some reco that this movie DBE will not likely be the same as the original...rather it wud juz be no more than a spoof...i hafta' say...i agree...
Okok enuf wif the movie review LOL anywayz we ended up watching Disney's Movie: Race to Witch Mountain. I guess it was lots of sci-fi genre...with aliens/UFOs/spaceships and stuff...however, it does haf the basic moral values like all disney movies XD friendship, family, courage, honesty...well yar u guys get the gist of it (nearly typed fist omg...) Anywayz i personally thought the movie was pretty good, well duh, i love anything tt's out of the ordinary...supernatural phenomenon...anything tt takes me away from the reality of this world ^^ *stares at the pile of vampire books next to her* well well...Hmm..the two teens who acted as the aliens were fairly convincing XD And of course...we have THE ROCK...who is as superb as ever ^^ ohh...i esp love the part where *smacks her mouth* oops...no spoilers...ahaha go watch it yerself if yer wanna' noe abt the show ^^
Anywayz after the movie, it was still early...say 2 plus or so...thus we ended up going LAN shop...to try out Left 4 Dead! (actly 4 of us TRIED one of us, jeff, was already, well, as they say, addicted to the game...) Hmmm...left 4 dead...IT WAS COOL MARVELLOUS FREAKINGLY SICK AND GORY! Perfect for me ^^ a gore fan... >_> hey dusn mean i'm a girl i can't enjoy gory stuff...anywayz the zombies were cool....i HATED the Boomers...dey literally vomit sludge on ya' which render u almost helpless cause u can't see anything except a green smudge across the screen. Oh yes...u can even get tackled by an undead and u nd yer team's help otherwise u die cause the undead will virtually eat u up/tear u apart (no ppl they din show the details) and of course sometimes u can get snagged by a string...around your neck! still all in all it was fun!! I shall show ya' some examples...nii~~~

2nd archery lesson

hahaha!! 2day my arm finally started feeling the strain LOL especially my left arm which is used to steady the bow ^^ lol...hmm anyway 2day we started later den the previous week. Funnily enuf when my friend n i arrived we saw that there were little kids still inside so we decided to walk around...the mini playground cum park outside the hall where we were supposed to haf our archery lessons in. There was a spacious shelter juz outisde the hall which we found and so we sat there for awhile as we waited...n waited...n waited...
8pm came n we still saw the kids inside...soooo we made our way to the canteen and waited even longer. My friend played a racing game on his phone while i played sudoku to wild our time away. Finally, our coach saw us and he told us to come in. When we went in he told us tt we could haf actly come in and sat by the side, with the bonus of air-conditioning. I was thinking...thank you but I wud rather be warm lol...it IS a cool day after all....anywayz our archery lesson thus begin.
First as usual we nocked our arrows and shot them. At first there were 4 of us, my friend and me plus another two kids who were younger than us, a boy n a girl. The girl was pretty cute XD Anywayz, my aiming was pretty off 2day T.T haizzz maybe i shud start training my arms up >_> muz haf more endurance!!! AHAHAHAHA Hmmm...so yar 2day we were taught to retrieve our arrows from he board. Omg...i was freaking weak n was tryin ta' pull the arrow out without success. In the end i made a cry for help towards my friend....ahhh...stupid sweaty slippery palms...zzz...
Another thing i noticed...is it just me or was the target getting smaller and smaller and smaller and smaller each time i retrieved the arrows n went back to shoot. At first all my arrows circled around the middle wif a couple hitting the target...but as time went on i noticed my arrows started flying upwards n downwards...i was thinking...oh man...my aiming is dead off!! I was pretty upset...i even NEARLY shot the arrow towards the floor >_> it was so freaking low on the board that i gasped. Haizzz
Oh well time to pack up after awhile...we went to carry the stuff backstage as me friend n i were the last two to finish up our lesson. Before that when i was helping coach carrying the first round of items, he admitted to me tt everytime we both turned around...he wud secretly push the target board a few inches back....i was thinking...oh goodie so it wasn't just me...ahahahahaha... <_< i was like...great...just great...haizz oh well gotta' work on my arm strength and endurance...*yawn* now i feel sleepy...thanks to the sport AND cold weather...both of which by itself cud make me tired...add them together...urgh...i wud definitely fall into a deep slumber in which even a bomb explosion wouldn't wake me up...haha....oh well tt was all for 2day ppl XD buaizzz

Drumming on Sunday n Archery on Monday

Well well well...sunday was my second drumming lesson XD it was slightly more interesting than the previous session cause this time we got to do a variation of beats...we used quavers n not just crotchets. There was one tiny bit of problem though. Some ppl had difficulty dividing the beats into half (2 quaver beats = 1 crotchet beat, take it as 2 50cent coins = 1 $1 coin yes?) Well as u can imagine, with all the drums in the room n wif ppl playin the drums at different tempos(beats) u get a sound that is surprisingly similar to a bunch of horses galloping away in the meadows. I was trying my best not to get distracted by the wrong beats so i stared at the wall in front of me and tried to divide up the beat equally in my head b4 playing. Gee whiz...n our teacher's reali amusing. He gives us a different tempo each time, from slow to fast to medium...perepctually everything. Thus, it confused half the class, or perhaps more den dat, n hence resulting in a really really messy sound coming from the drum studio. I was mega tempted to borrow my teacher's ear plugs LOL but then again i thought, might as well bear wif it...i'm goin to learn drumming for a looooong time...n when i say long i truly mean it. Our syllabus is going to be covered over 3 years or more, depending on our own preferences. hmmm...i glanced through the textbook. Man i couldn't wait to start playing more complicated beats...looks really cool. Ahh yes...there was this tricky set of beats tt were playing...at the end of four bars there wud be a rest on the last beat. It's very very common to hear an extra beat coming from somewhere. The conductor decided not to do anything abt it cause he knew if he were to keep stopping the class wouldn't be going anywhere for some time =) Okay tt was it for drumming...now for archery...

Archery...whew...the only thing i can say is that...my coach is one hell of a joker and that it really is taxing on your arm. I admit, it looks really cool and fun. However, when you actually do the sport itself, you'll probably realise that there's a lot of work behind the cool facade of archers. Hmmm so anyway my friend n i went for our first archery lesson ( actly for the cc it's 2nd, so technically speaking, we were one lesson behind T.T ) and the coach gave us a warm and completely hilarious welcome ^^ First up he got us to introduce ourselves which we did. Then he got both of us to go up while he checks our size (fat or thin) of course those hu noe me wud noe wad category i'm under ^^ he poked our upper arms n said 'this is fat u see! after learning archery this over here will be toned' poor me was laughing so hard i had was having difficulty breathing n had a reali bad case of tummyache ^^" So anywayz he introduced the bow to us n taught us the different parts...as well as wad we needed to wear during our archery shooting sessions, mainly an arm guard ( to protect yer arm in case the bowstring slaps against it) n of course the finger guard...i think..hmm forgot wad it was called ( to protect yer fingers when u're pulling the bowstring ... once or twice it wouldn't hurt but believe me if u had to do it repeatedly u'll feel the pain) and den we were ready to shoot. My first arrow hit the top of the board whilst my second arrow flew out of the board. fantastic eh? one of the other coaches quickly corrected me ^^ he looked quite young to me...*shrugs* oh well...anywayz after tt my shooting got better thankfully. No more out-of-board arrows n my arrows became quite consistent after tt. they were all around the circle n some even hit the bullseye (tyco shot) So after a few rounds of shooting, my shoulder blades n upper arms started to ache. After i went home, i could barely lift my arm for awhile...it reali hurts LOL but oh well i'll get used to it...after a couple of weeks or so. now...one more course to start...dancing...but tt will be another story ^^

A lvl results

haha 2day...DOOMSDAY! LOLZ interesting way of describing it eh? Anywayz, yes 2day was the release of A lvl results. I stared at my results...okay i passed...fantastic. Not gd enuf to enter NUS/NTU but not bad enuf to retake. Soooo...hello SMU/SIM/POLY! XD I was cheering away at my results funnily enuf because i was glad i din fail anything...tt's the most important. Y'noe i was kinda' freaked when i saw ppl crying and their results were waaay better den mine. *sigh* sometimes i think the pressure tt these ppl put on themselves or their parents put on them...it's an excellent trigger factor for depression or any emotional problems. Good grief.

Sooo yar i hung out wif my bestie for awhile (who did much better den me lolz) at Citilink Starbucks. We chatted for a bit and den stoned for awhile...talkin abt anything and everything. It was fun. We shared wad we planned on doing...wad our plans were for the next day...and den continued stoning away and chit-chatting XD

After i got home, i went straight to my computer ( after dinner of course) n played warcraft wif my boyfriend ^^ we played till...um.......err....4 in the morning? yup yup. The game was fun so we kept playing and playing and playing without keeping track of time! Ain't tt wonderful? Anywayz tt was abt it for my day for A levels...



OH! next day i went out wif my bestie chips again to check out SMU. Man i love this cool cca they have. Broadcast Entertainment! o.o man i cud talk all day on radio *eyes sparkle* tt'll be waaaay fun man!!! XD Hmmm we walked around checking out the various schools/degrees that interested us as well as caught our attention. We entered the cca room...got completely lost there cause we din noe wad's going on...took a glance around, stared at each other, n walked out. LOLZ

First Drumming Lesson XD

HIII! 2day i tried out my first drumming lesson EVER! Holy cow! It was at Yamaha...the Tampines branch and coincidentally i ran into my ex-piano teacher. She looked equally shock to see me as i was to see her! And her shocked expression depeened when i told her i was there to learn drums. She muz be thinking....drums and esme juz dun go well together...cause of my REALLY TINY physique XD It really pays to haf musical background if u wanna' pick up a musical instrument...u kinda' haf the advantage XD I was literally stoning away when our teacher, Mr Victor Soh, was teaching the basic notations. Of course i din actly SHOW that i was stoning...tt wud be pure suicidal ^^ anywayz the first lesson...we introduced outselves...i'm gonna' need awhile to rmb the names...i'll haf plenty of time anywayz XD we learnt the basic techniques of drumming...how to hold the sticks yada yada yada...learnt the different kinds of drums in a drum set...the first one we used was the Snare drum...without the lever up of course or else it wud be pretty noisy and the poor teacher wud lose his voice screaming over 7 snare drum sounds AHAHAHA ok sry tt was lame.
So anywayz after lesson i was abt to go home and i realised...to my horror it was raining! and i did not haf an umbrella wif me!! NOOOO!! I was thinking i'm prepared to be wet...den lo and behold! I ran into my brother at the station and i begged him 2 lend me the umbrella which he did sooo i got home pretty dry actly XD of course i ran into the toilet to wash myself wif nice hot water!! Ahhh...shuang... XD
Oh Dad said he wud settle dinner...but he wanted to watch Casino Royale instead LOL so it was a dad and daughter dinner alone night. He told me to call up pizza hut...i was like...am i hearing thiings?! My dad telling me to call pizza?! he never eats pizza! so i was like...o..k...Sadly the phone lines were engaged. I got so fed up i resorted to ordering online ^^ ain't i a stinker???? Sooo yar anywayz we both sat in front of the tv, ate pizza, drank a hot drink ( Tea for me Cappucino for Daddy) ^^
Anywayz after tt i stoned for awhile in front of the tv before running into my room XD luv my room luv my room luv my room XD okie tt's all for 2day nitez people!! XD

Outing wif bestie

*chuckles* 2day was one hell of a fun day! I was supposed ta' mt my bestie on the train at ard 10...so while i was walking towards the station...i saw sth tt was...well...it din look exactly right. It's not sth i can blog abt publicly...so i shall keep my mouth zipped up XD *zips* Anywayz I went out wif my bestie to watch the movie: Pink Panther 2 XD man the sequel was freaking hilarious lolz! We were laughing reali reali loudly...who cares...there were after all only 4 ppl in the cinema including us ^^ haha no spoilers from me this time ^^ i suggest y'all move yer asses n go watch the movie! it's super mega hyper funny. luckily...no snacks...or else we wud haf felt nauseated...in fact i did feel tt i was abt to vomit from laughing too much ^^ Sooo anywayz my bestie n i stoned in front of the fountain at suntec...the indoor one not the fountain of wealth...n we chatted abt everything under the sun. Of course we did walk abit and looked at the clothes...we both agreed that the latest trends for fashion...is scary....we soo din like it...so yar after tt we grabbed a cup of coffee at starbucks n den continued our chatting session b4 we made our way home XD
I gamed awhile in Audition, tried out F.E.A.R.: Project Origin...and freaked myself out...n was like...i dunnid 2 sleep liao ^^" even horror movies not tt bad de lol

MOVIE MOVIE REVIEW!!

HAHA! 2 movies in two days....one after the other...Bride Wars and Underworld...hmmm...i shall talk abt them...as well as other stuff tt's been happening to me...XD

Well anywayz awhile back i went out with chips meg n candice ta' watch movie!! BRIDE WARS! XD it was funny...in a weird manner...but the ending was reali touching and amazing, albeit unbelievable for it to happen in real life though. Anywayz to those hu din watch the movie i'll give y'all a brief summary: it's abt these two girls hu haf been best buddies for 20 years straight...both wanting to be each other's bridesmaid and both wanting to marry at the same place...forgot the name of it though ^^" anywayz this was so until one day due to some clerical error, both their weddings were due on the same day...n tt's where the 'fun' begins...well...more like sabotage. both girls tried sabotaging each other so tt they wouldn't be able to get married on that day. ( Yar well...tt's where all the funny parts come in like blue hair, skin tt looks like lobster, increase in waist size till one is unable to fit in her wedding dress) it lasted all the way till the actual wedding day. When...well...the two friends made up...n there was a happy ending altogether ^^ there was even the last bit...where both friends met up...and...haha...tt's the interesting part XD watch it cause i shall not spoil it ^^

Hmmm...i watched Underworld: Rise of the lycans too...with my boyfriend ^^ hehe i rmb it's m18...n i saw two girls trying their luck to get in...dressing all matured n stuff...*cough cough* i was thinking...dun try lying for these kinds of shows...it nv works...Anywayz, abt the show...
IT WAS SUPERB! sadly there were many guys but little girls...i was like...hey...where're all the girls...den my dad explained...haiya...these kinds of shows...guys wud normally prefer one...i stared...he said: Mindless action! lots of fighting! ohh.. LOL anywayz the show was basically a prequel to the series Underworld XD how lucian came abt...how sonea n lucian mate n gave birth to...selene...i think...why lucian has a grudge against the vampires...ahh...it explains everything. I was so caught up in the movie i virtually became as still as a statue. It was so freaking interesting...

Hmmm...anywayz for Chinese New year...i did not do much visiting...cause i was in mourning i guesss ... =( it was so sad. no not cause i cudn't do visiting. Anywayz we had our usual reunion dinner, afternoon lunch for first n 2nd day of CNY...my uncles' cooking was as good as usual. Anywayz when i was out visiting, my cousin showed me some christian songs...some of which i sang b4 n oso partly cause my bestie, chips, is a christian. He played the accompaniment on his guitar...n we both sang ^^ hmmm we went to my cousin,s Nat's place to juz chill out and hang ard cause tt was the final visiting place. Apparently we both share the same tastes...we do not like sweet stuff but love bitter food...we both watch stuff on crunchyroll n never knew we shared similar interests ^^ it was fun in a way i guess. Ahh well tt's all tt has been happening to me these days...soo ciaos ppl XD
